Export images, situation cards and reports

Every export, what it contains, and which ones are locked.

What you get: A picture, card or report of the map, carrying the Cartevoir mark and its sources.

Steps

File → "Share…" gathers the link, the map as an image, a situation card, "Data card…" and "Report (PDF)" in one sheet, each with save, copy or share buttons where the browser allows.
File → "Save map image (PNG)" saves what is on screen, with a Cartevoir credit and the timestamp.
File → "Save the whole map (PNG)" flies out to the world, captures it and puts your camera back.
File → "Save a selection…" lets you drag a box over the part you want.
File → "Make a data card…" makes a graphic of national indicators with their sources and years.
File → "Export report (PDF)" makes one page: the map, the moment, the layers and what they do not know.
File → "Print / save as PDF…" uses the browser's own print dialog.

Locked exports

The raw-data exports — "Export view + metadata (JSON)", "Export workspace (JSON)" and "Export this table (CSV)" on Intellivoir pages — are shown with a lock. They are not open to any account yet, subscribers included.

What success looks like

The saved file opens with the map, its time and its source credits on it.

Limits to know

Images show only public layers you have on and your own imported data if it is visible on screen — check the picture before sending it.
A layer still loading, or a hidden browser tab, can make a capture fail; the note says why.

If something is wrong

"This browser cannot put an image on the clipboard — save it instead.": Your browser does not support copying images; use the save button.
